How can I apply for the certificate?
You can apply in person in Ottawa , in Toronto, in Vancouver or during one of our extramural consular days.
Please note that due to the extremely sensitive nature of the data we are in no position to accept applications from intermediaries or representatives, e.g. immigration consultants or lawyers.
What shall I bring to my appointment?
- Application form filled out in blue ink and signed.
- Valid photo ID (passport, personal identification, Canadian driver’s license)
- The Certificate fee. Please see above for information on payments.
Attention! If you request an English translation of the Certificate of Good Conduct, an additional payment must be made. Please find the total in the “Consular Fees”.
If you request that the Certificate of Good Conduct be mailed to you, we ask you to attach a Registered Mail envelope to your application. Please, address it ahead of time, and add the “Signature on delivery” sticker.
The usual processing time is 2-3 weeks.
