The Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto and its Vice-Consulate in Vancouver are offering limited services to Hungarian citizens in Canada by strictly enforcing Health Canada as well as provincial health and safety guidelines. We kindly inform you that appointment is necessary for our Consular Services. Appointments can be booked through our appointment e-booking system, which you can reach at the following website:

The Vice Consulate in Vancouver will continue to designate appointments via E-mail. Please book your appointment and prior consultation: mission.van@mfa.gov.hu
Please note that currently the following consular services are available by appointment:
- Passport
- Registration of birth, marriage, death, divorce
- Cases connected to the Registration cases (Applying for Hungarian Birth Certificate and first Hungarian passport for a minor born to Hungarian citizens in Canada. Please note, if the parents were married abroad and the marriage has not been registered in Hungary yet, it must be registered at the same time with the birth registration)
- Acknowledgement of paternity;
- “Ügyfélkapu” registration;
- Authentication (signatures, copies);
- Certificate of Good Conduct.

For all other requests please contact us by E-mail and we will do our best to facilitate your request.
Please do not visit our Consulate unless you have received the confirmation email from our booking system. We kindly ask you to visit us alone, as only one person is allowed to be present at our consular premises at the same time. Please visit us only if you are feeling healthy, and did not travel abroad in the last 14 days. Facemask and physical distancing is mandatory during your entire visit.
