We do not accept either cash or cheque.

Where a Hungarian authority is responsible for a procedure (i.e. passport, citizenship, birth/marriage registration), the Consulate only processes the applications and does not interfere with the administrative procedure concerned. So the Consulate is not able to inform you on the status of the individual administrative procedures. You may contact the relevant Hungarian authorities directly.

The Consulate will contact you once your case is closed by phone, e-mail or letter.

If the Consulate notifies you that your documents are ready to be picked up, you may do so during our consular office hours, no prior appointment needed.

Please note that the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto is not authorized to issue visas. If you would like to apply for a visa, please contact the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa. You can also find information regarding visas on the Embassy’s website.
