We would like to inform our Client, that Canada has joint the Hague Convention which comes into force 11th January 2024. In general, it means that in the future the General Consulate will not be entitled to do diplomatic legalization to Canadian public documents. Instead of the consular diplomatic legalization of Canadian public documents, the proper Canadian authority will be able to issue an Apostille certificate. The following link will guide you to find which is the competent Canadian authority where your document can be legalized.
