Participation at the annual Gala Dinner of the Hungarian Canadian Business Association
The Hungarian Canadian Business Association has organized its annual Gala Dinner on the 16th March 2018. During the event the Hungarian-Canadian entrepreneurs of the year were awarded.
This year Judit Szabó and her translation office won the entrepreneur of the year prize, Luis Nemes, the founder and owner of “Bistro on Avenue” was awarded with “lifetime achievement award” and Kristin and Justin Butler founders and owners of “Eva’s Original Chimney Cake” were selected to the young entrepreneur of the year.
During the event Sándor Balla, the newly elected president of the Business Association has greeted the audience and former president Eszter Tóth has introduced the newest Corvina Hungarian Canadian Business Directory. Speeches were delivered by consul general Stefánia Szabó, ambassador dr. Bálint Ódor, MPP Francesco Sorbara, city counselor Gino Rosati and provincial minister Steven Del Duca. The message of Premier Kathleen Wynne was delivered by Magda Gondor. During the event guests had the opportunity to taste delicious Hungarian wines offered by “Ital Magyarország”.
